Small Claims and Credit Card Payments

Avalon Management, at a cost of over $30k, completely reworked our online credit card and E-Check payment methods, at the lowest rates in the U.S.  However, there are a number of instances in which some residents are driving up the cost of providing these services, to the detriment of all residents.  Rather then affecting overall rates, Avalon will now separately charge additional fees directly to the owners who pay by using a credit card over the phone, or for accounts in the Small Claims process.  Please remember that Avalon offers free auto-debit (ACH), and free payment plan options, as well as accepting checks or cash mailed or in person at either of our offices, Canyon Lake or Temecula.  Residents can also log on anytime and for a small fee (payable to the credit card processor) pay using a credit card or by E-Check. Residents most affected by these additional fees will be those residents that call to make a payment over the phone using a credit card or E-Check, or residents with accounts in the Small Claims Process.

Homeowners are reminded to take care with their homes and personal belongings.  Remember to lock all your doors and windows, taking care to remember those side garage doors as well.  Don't leave valuables in your vehicles, and remember to lock your vehicles at night.  Management has been alerted to possible attempts at break-ins at other Associations, that does not mean it cannot happen here.  Contact the Police Department immediately upon witnessing any suspicious activity in your neighborhood.  Alert a trusted neighbor when you will be away, to pick up newspapers or mail, or packages.  Always send packages "signature required" upon receipt.  If you've watched the news, criminals like to follow the UPS truck around for deliveries, and remove items right off the porch even in broad daylight.  Beware!

Credit Card Processing Available

Avalon has completed migration to a fully integrated credit card and e-check system.  Homeowners may now pay their monthly assessments by credit card or e-check by logging onto their account (available through the "My Account" tab on the Association's website) and clicking "Pay Online".  For additional assistance with your account,  you may contact the Accounting Department directly at (951) 244-0048.
